If you love the outdoors there is plenty for you to do on Jura. Many walkers visit the island to walk, lots of visitors come to see the wildlife, many are making the pilgrimage to the home of their favourite whisky, or the hideaway of their favourite author, some come to fish the lochs and rivers and many just to relax and enjoy the peace of island life.
There is only one shop on the island - and one pub - but a whole, surprisingly large island to explore and enjoy for a three-day break or a week-long holiday.
