Commis Chef

This is a fantastic opportunity for a trainee chef, experienced kitchen porter or competent chalet host with ambitions in a commercial kitchen.
We are looking for a commis chef who will be confident cooking traditional Scottish breakfast for up to 35 guests, and who will assume responsibility for starters, salads and desserts during dinner service (80 covers during high season). You will also assist the head chef or sous chef during lunch (up to 100 covers).

Requirements
This role involves early starts and late finishes so you need to have endless amounts of energy and a bright, positive outlook.

You will be able to cope well under pressure and work pro-actively on your own and in a team. You must have an infallible work ethic, an Elementary Food Hygiene certificate and fluent English.

Pay £6.15/hr, approx 40 hours per week. Accommodation can be provided at low cost.
